Ishikawa Paper Goods Ltd. was founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture—one of Japan’s most renowned production areas for traditional Mino Washi. Through our core value of “Washi-ya no Te-shigoto” (handwork by a Washi maker), we manufacture, wholesale, and sell Mino Washi gift goods for B2B customers. By integrating entertainment into traditional Japanese crafts, we plan, develop, manufacture, and distribute original Japanese products. We hold Japan’s No.1 number of Mino Washi brand certifications (among the highest in the world).

OEM manufacturing and custom original production (private label / bespoke design). What is Banshoji Temple? ▼

Banshoji Temple is located in Osu, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It is a historic temple founded in the 16th century by Oda Nobuhide, father of Oda Nobunaga. As a landmark at the heart of the Osu shopping district, it is also known for episodes related to Nobunaga and for performances of mechanical karakuri puppets.

The mascot character "Hakubi-kun" is said to have lived at Banshoji since long ago. It is based on the motif of a “white fox.”
