What is the “National Convention for Promotion of Blood Donation”…
It is an annual convention held every July to promote nationwide blood donation by encouraging each individual’s understanding and cooperation. It is hosted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Japanese Red Cross Society, and the prefecture of the host location, and is conducted as part of the “Love Blood Donation Campaign.” The convention promotes blood donation especially among younger generations, recognizes contributors to blood donation, and serves as an important platform to advance the blood donation movement nationwide.

A quick note from the staff ～Yamashita’s “Mountain of Mountains”～
Hello everyone. One day, I went to a hair salon to get my hair dyed pink.
My usual stylist told me something interesting: “There’s a place where you can try shooting model guns / airsoft.”
Apparently it was nearby. I’ve always been curious to experience a “military-style” world, so I decided to go. As a kid, I joined in pretend battles more than playing with dolls. Even in VR games, my favorite genre is shooting games.
So I thought, “I have to go,” and went right away. There were all kinds of zones—moving targets, time-attack, even long-distance shooting. And even though it was a three-day holiday weekend, there was no one there! I played for a full hour.
I expected it to feel short, but once you focus, time flies.
Maybe because I’ve been doing squats while playing shooting games for dieting, it seems I’m good at headshots.
Hitting the dead center of the target with a “sniper rifle” feels so satisfying.
Pros can do the time attack in 1 second.
I did it in 5 seconds.
Not bad for a first time, right? It seems like even Nobita’s dream isn’t impossible.
I found handguns fit my hands better than long guns—maybe because I use them all the time (in games).
The shop is in Kakamigahara, so please go for stress relief. Honestly, just looking at the items is fun too.
It’s interesting to handle pistols like those you see in games. I want to go again, so I’m thinking of summoning a friend. They also offer rentals, so it’s beginner-friendly.
