Ishikawa Paper Goods Co., Ltd. was founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, the production area of traditional Mino washi Japanese paper. Through our philosophy of “handcrafts by a washi workshop,” we design, manufacture and wholesale Mino washi lifestyle goods and Japanese paper crafts. By adding entertainment value to traditional crafts, we plan, develop, manufacture and sell original products. We hold the largest number of certified Mino Washi Brand items in Japan (and the world), supplying corporate buyers, importers and wholesalers worldwide with high-quality Japanese paper gifts and traditional Japanese stationery.

The design is inspired by the stork, known as a bird that brings babies and happiness.

The stork holds a baby made of Mino washi in its beak.

The small cushion on which the stork sits is made of chirimen (crepe) fabric.

In addition, aroma essential oil and special ceramic balls (supplied by the client) are included!

By applying the essential oil to the ceramic balls, we created a mechanism that delivers both “relaxation and fragrance” – ideal as a wellness-themed Japanese gift item.

The official character of Noboribetsu City in Hokkaido has been turned into a roly-poly doll!
