Ishikawa Paper Goods Co., Ltd., founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, is based in the historic production area of Mino Washi Japanese paper. Under our philosophy of “handcrafted by washi artisans”, we manufacture, wholesale and export a wide range of Mino Washi lifestyle goods and Japanese traditional crafts. We design, develop, produce and sell items that blend time-honored craft techniques with contemporary entertainment. We hold the largest number of certified Mino Washi brand products in Japan (and in the world), supplying retailers, distributors, museum shops and corporate buyers in Japan and overseas.
We offer OEM and original private-label production. We also create original papier-mâché (hariko) figures. We plan and produce numerous OEM and original designs for anime characters, event mascots, corporate mascots, local “yuru-chara” mascots, shrine specialties and more.
