“Ogawa Washi Photo Stand”!!!
What is Ogawa Washi…
Ogawa handmade craft paper is a traditional hand-made washi paper produced in Ogawa Town, Saitama Prefecture and surrounding areas, using kozo (paper mulberry) as the primary raw material. In particular, “Hosokawa-shi,” recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, is well known. It is characterized by its strength, natural luster, and refined texture, and is used for a wide range of applications such as wallpaper, shoji screens, business cards, and printmaking. With a history of about 1,300 years, the community also focuses on preserving techniques and training successors.
