About Yatagarasu…▼
Yatagarasu is a legendary bird appearing in Japanese mythology, said to have guided Emperor Jimmu on his eastern expedition.
It is widely known as a three-legged crow and is worshipped as an embodiment of the sun.
Yatagarasu is revered as a deity of guidance and is also known as a guardian deity for safe travel and good fortune.

Produced by our company on commission from Kumano Shrine (Kodaira City, Tokyo) as an original shrine souvenir.

The guiding deity “Yatagarasu” has been transformed into a Washi Korokoro roly-poly doll!
*As this is an OEM product, it is not sold directly by our company.  

Designed as a good-luck charm that stands back up again and again, even when knocked over.
We created two versions, male and female.
At Kumano Shrine, these dolls are displayed together with omikuji fortunes, so we added a special mechanism that allows an omikuji slip to be placed on the doll.
