What is the “National Convention for the Promotion of Blood Donation”? 
It is a convention held every July with the aim of deepening each citizen’s understanding of and cooperation with blood donation and promoting blood donation campaigns throughout Japan. Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Japanese Red Cross Society, and the prefecture hosting the event co-organize the convention as part of the “Love’s Blood Donation Mutual Aid Campaign.”In particular, it promotes understanding and cooperation with blood donation among younger generations, honors those who have contributed to blood donation, and serves as an important forum for advancing blood donation activities. 

 
The 60th convention in 2024 was held in Gifu Prefecture, and at the request of the Gifu Prefectural Government we produced the commemorative items.
A total of 1,400 pieces (700 of each color) were used as gifts for participants.
